Happy 4th of July

Growing up in a country where not one person was free.

I am so grateful to my adopted country.

America took in my family.

We have enjoyed freedom and prosperity.

Thank you America.

Happy Independence Day!

  3. A lovely thought, Gina, and sad to think of all who are not Free and at Peace today. Or any day. What country did you come from?

  7. Dear Dawne, My family came from East Prussia, Germany, by the Baltic Sea. When my Father was released from War Prison Camp in Siberia, we escaped from East Germany and were allowed to emigrate to the United States. I was a teenager and loved America right from the very start.
