  1. Hi, Gina - I'm guessing that you are more than half-way and maybe about three-quarters done with your stairs project. I hope we get to see the tiles once again layed out before they're sent off and delivered!

    1. Dear Mark, I'm almost finished with phase 1 of the project. The first shipment should arrive in Florida tomorrow. My client and I will then decide how to tackle phase No. 2. Even though it has been very time consuming I have enjoyed the assignment. I have been given free reign as to designs but will find out if I'm on the right track in the next few days.
I'm hoping that my client will send pictures once the entire job has been installed.

  2. I forget how many beautiful tiles are required for your commission dear Gina but know it's a big order! Your fortitude is only surpassed by your amazing art…………..hopefully you will see the light at the end of that artistic tunnel soon!
Thanks for the update - you are missed needless to say.
    Hugs - Mary

    1. Dear Mary, It's a good thing that Spring has not sprung around here. Because it has been so cold not much gardening has been accomplished around here. In the meantime it has given me time to work on a project I really like. However, I do miss my blogging friends. Thank you for your sweet message. ox, Gina

  4. Hello Gina, and many thanks for showing us more of the joyous colors that you are using in this commission. The folks who have chosen you to make these tiles are very wise and have great taste.

Even though the official arrival of Spring is nearing, it is still pretty chilly in New York. I actually gave this year's St. Patrick's Day parade a pass...just too cold stand on the curbside when the temp hovers around the freezing point...even if the bands were playing wonderful music.

    1. Dear Frances, I know how you feel about the cold. So cold here as well. It was 13 degrees 2 nights ago. One good thing is that our fruit trees are holding back.
My project is coming along well. When compartmentalized it is not so difficult...just have to stick with it. Thank you for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment.

  5. Dear Gina,
it is always so wonderful to see your work displayed, especially among the Hellebore and Orchids.I should probably order a whole bunch of tiles, when you are done, painted with that colorful fish for my husband.................I love the colors. I am glad to hear that your project is half finished and that we might even be able to see the tiles installed.
    Warmest greetings, Sieglinde

    1. Dear Sieglinde, You and I have worked on a few very successful collaborations before. A Fish, swimming in a pretty yellow sea, for Mr B is a great idea. A 6 x 6 inch tile, with little round plastic coasters, makes for a great perch for a cup of coffee or tea. Send me a portrait of your favorite fish and I will sneak in a tile for Mr B. ox, Gina
