Can you name my flowers, all 14 of them?

If you can you will win a prize

I will show you this bouquet from all directions.

Who knows you might even identify one that I have missed.
Naming 14 correct flowers will win the prize.

All roses count as one.

At the end of this post you will see your prize.

No doubt you have identified all of them by now.

If not, here are a few more clues.

Don't worry I have a few more photos for you.

Remember roses count as one.

I see a new one in this photo.

Here is another new flower.

Your prize will be a dozen hand printed  cotton string bags as shown below. They are printed with my original designs.

Comment moderation will be in place.  The first to name all 14 flowers will be declared the winner.

I have added this photo because it shows a lavender colored flower (in front) that is not clearly seen in all other photos.

Good luck everyone.

Gina

  1. Hi Gina,
I think you have:-Roses; polyanthus ( primrose ); Nasturtium; petunia; poppy; stoksia; Lady's mantle; Calliandra; nemisia; astrantia; verbana; calendula; Cyclamen; centura montana; Honeysuckle( or corydalis ) and some parsley.
You don't have my favourite carnations.

    1. Hello Ali, thank you for giving it a try. You have quite a few listed that are in my bouquet but only about half of the 14. Thank you for trying and participating. It is obvious that you know your flowers well.

  2. Dear Gina,
Such a pretty bowl filled with the most colorful variety of flowers. I will not even try to name them and only enjoy their beauty and your great photos.
    Have a wonderful weekend, Sieglinde

    1. Dear Sieglinde, You have so many beautiful flowers in your garden and I have seen some remarkable photographs of your flowers. No wonder you don't know many of my flowers, you live in a totally different environment. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

    1. Dear Rosemary, I have added another photo at the end of my post. It shows a lavender flower that is not easily deciphered in my other photographs. I would love for you to try again because you are the expert. Your garden in England is a work of art.

  4. Well, Gina, every one of these photographs is dazzling. The flowers look spectacular together, and I am unable to name many of them. However, I keep revisiting this post, so that I might learn some more names for the lovelies.

    Happy weekend. xo

    1. Dear Frances, I must admit that some of my flowers are a little unusual. However, they grow easily in most gardens. I will, of course, reveal their names...maybe tomorrow because it's sunday. In the meantime I better head outside and get busy weeding my flower and vegetable patch.

    1. Dear Rosemary, I inadvertently posted your answer which I shouldn't have because you had almost all of the flowers named. I may have to declare you the winner if no one else comes close. You only need to identify 2 more flowers. Of course I knew that you would be close.

  6. Oh My Goodness Dear Gina, I shall say this, what loveliness in the brilliance of colours, and the textures. I am certain the mix of fragrances make the air of your home, brim full of the goodness of these beauties... I see the Roses, and I think possibly Hellebore and from then on, I really have never seen such gorgeousness all together. Have a beautiful week~

    1. Dear Mary, That you recognized the Hellebore seed pods is quite remarkable. You know more about flowers than you think. Our friend Rosemary, from England, has identified 12 of the mystery flowers. I have posted a couple of new photos to help identify the rest. I think that Rosemary will be the winner.

  11. I can only name eight right now. Rose, kalanchoe, astrantia, daylily, marigold, cornflower, ladys mantle, pansy, but there are others that I see that I cannot remember the names of! I am sorry to be so late visiting, we had a minor domestic drama yesterday - nothing serious in the end, all ok - but I didn't get a change to do any blogging. Thank you so much for taking part in Five On Friday, I do appreciate it! Hope you are having a great weekend!

Hope your domestic drama has resolved itself and that you are looking at happier days ahead.

  12. Not only could I not in a million years name all those flowers, but some I have never even seen before. Sure would love to have a bouquet that lovely on my entry table, however. Did they all come from your garden?

    1. Hello Patsy, Have you noticed that flowers look more important when they are all massed together in a vase?
Yes, all of the flowers came from my garden. The season has just begun and more flowers will bloom in the next few weeks.
Thank you for stopping by...it is so appreciated.

  13. Hello Gina, I've spent an unusually long time examining your beautiful bouquet. It's like a puzzle to try and name all the flowers. I can't possibly name them all, but here's what I see: Rose, Hellebore, Lady's Mantle, Cornflower (centaurea), Magnolia, Primrose, Alstroemeria, Painted Tongue, Day Lily, Lotus, Yellow Sweet Clover, Greek Valerian, Calendula.....some of these are wild guesses. I hope you do identify each of these flowers for us - I'm very curious about some of them.
