I can't believe it.

I can't believe it!

I sent this mural only a few days ago to my client in Virginia.

It's already installed.  And what a beautiful job.
I love the way the subway tiles are laid on an angle.

I am so pleased that I received this picture.
I seldom see my tiles once they are  sent off.

I can't believe it.

I have walked past this corner of my garden and didn't notice that my Hellebore have sent out a few tentative blossoms.

It's been warmer than usual.  We have not had a winter,  nor have we had much snow.

Maybe it will rain come Spring.

Have a wonderful weekend dear friends.

Gina

  1. Gina, it's absolutely gorgeous - it was when you showed it to us flat before shipping, now inset on the wall with the herringbone subway tile, one can truly see your beautiful creation perfectly. You never cease to amaze with your painting.

The hellebores and roses are breathtaking - such lovely colors. We may get a sprinkle of snow tonight - brilliant sunshine now but will be a cold night. Later we drive out of town for an evening engagement party so hoping the rain doesn't start until we're home again, safe and sound!

    Hugs, happy weekend - Mary

    1. Dear Mary, Hope you made it home safe. Your rain probably turned to ice. Wish we could get some of your rain. We need it desperately.
Thank you so much for your lovely compliments. They are so appreciated and thank you also for your visit and comment. I have been enjoying your incredible feathered friends photos.

    1. Hello Katherine, Blue and white is still one of the best choices for a kitchen. Thank you for your visit.

  3. Your mural looks absolutely exquisite in the new owner's home Gina, and how kind of them to send you a photo so that you can appreciate how it looks in its new environment.

    1. Dear Rosemary, My client sent another photo with the hearth area completed. Now I am curious to see the rest of the renovation. It is seldom that I see the completed installation. So I'm doubly pleased.

  4. Dear Gina,
your mural looks so special and wonderful in this kitchen in Virginia. What beautiful work you have done and how well it fits with the rest of the tiles is amazing. Makes me immediately wish to do over my own kitchen.
My Hellebore have no flowers, but I see some leaves. We do need rain as well. The winter has been dry so far.
    Warm hugs, Sieglinde

    1. Dear Sieglinde,
My client was very pleased. He left an especially nice comment in my Etsy shop. You might have to be patient for another year. Once they begin to bloom their growth pattern is almost too prolific. I started out with 2 plants, now I have hundreds. Don't give up. A few blossoms might even show up this year.

  5. Hello Gina! As I dip my toes back into the wonders of blogging, it has been a complete joy to scroll through the colorful treat to see what has been going on around your place while I have been away. Many thanks for the beauty of your posts. xo

  6. Welcome back Frances. I have missed seeing photos of your forays into flower markets and Central Park. And then there are your beautiful watercolors and what about your lovely colors you use in your knitting.
