Sunrise this morning

A pink Sunrise this morning.
Shining into the windows of our guest cottage.

Does that mean it's going to snow some more?

We would welcome it and so would the fields and fruit orchard.

The pink is starting to fade outside.

But not on the inside.

Have a great remainder of the week my dear
Blogging Friends.

  2. Dear Gina - what glorious photos - the pink and blue sky turning the snow into pink candy floss. You know the saying I am sure "red sky at night shepherds delight - red sky in the morning shepherds warning".
We had a another load last night. We put our lights off indoors and put the lights on outside so that we could watch it magically falling.
However, by Friday we will have had the snow for a week, and then I am going to send it back to where it came from.

    1. Dear Merisi, The scene yesterday morning was just as you see it in my photographs. I did not enhance the color. Sometimes, mother nature is hard at work to make our lives more beautiful.

    1. Dear Val, It has been so cold the last few weeks that our snow is still clean and crisp. More snow is predicted for today. And if it comes, my cross country skis are leaning up against the tree, ready to go sliding. ox, Gina

  7. Lovely photographs, Gina. Did you know that when it freezes in Florida, the citrus growers spray their oranges with water. The ice around the oranges actually forms a shield against even colder temperatures.

    1. Dear Mark, I am aware of the water spray treatment. That only works for us when the temperatures don't go down too far. Often, the ice gets so heavy on the branches that they break from the weight. In earlier times smudge pots helped but because of the damage to the environment, they are not in use anymore.
