  1. Dear Gina - they have some lovely new features - I have played and made mine.
Do you pay the new subscription to picmonkey? I don't and some of the things I would like to use are now not available to me.
I love the nostalgic Victorian feel you have created.

    1. Dear Rosemary, Yes, I have joined the advanced features. I'm trying it out. Not sure if I will keep it. You can decide month by month. Most good photo editing programs charge a fee. I am happy to pay for the excellent program that it is. However, the basic features are really enough. I know that you like to experiment...maybe PicMonkey will continue to add new features that we would like to use. I have included a few of the new features. But most of all I like the idea of having the opportunity to use some of my on images as overlays.
Looking forward to your Valentine design. ox, Gina

  3. Oh, dear! I just managed to get through all my Christmas foodstuffs, and now Valentine's Day is on the way! I think there's some cabal that schedules holidays just to thwart all my good intentions to diet. And now PicMonkey is in on the scheme too! That said, it looks as though PicMonkey would be a fun place to work.

    1. Have you tried PicMonkey Mark? With your excellent design skills you would have a heyday with this program. What I like most about it that it is so user friendly. I also like their clever prompts. Makes one happy while working.
Now Mark, there are lots of people who allow themselves a chocolate or two each day. As you know dark chocolate is good for you. So, there should not be any guilt attached to this one exception in your good intentions.

    2. Yes, Gina, I've gone to PicMonkey and had some fun there! And thanks for allowing me a chocolate a day. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no will power when chocolate is involved, so I would probably need someone else to be responsible for rationing to me! I picture the Whitman Chocolates man delivering a teeny sampler box to my front door every day.

  4. Dear Gina,
the artist's eye in your original photo is visible without all the monkey business, but I must say, even with PicMonkey it is not so easy to make a simple photo shine in such a romantic light as you did. I know, because I just tried. Practice makes the master, but sometimes not................Thanks for pointing
PicMonkey out as a helpful tool, Sieglinde

    1. Dear Georgianna, Can't wait to see what you come up with. Do you use PicMonkey? Because you are so proficient in photo editing you probably use a more complex program. I would love to know what you think. ox. Gina

  6. Dear Sieglinde, Often a sepia colored overlay will do the trick. And yes, practice makes the master. Have fun playing around with your photos. And when making your cards make sure you print onto heavy card stock...that makes all the difference. ox, Gina

    1. Hello Patricia, You can purchase the advanced features month by month. That gives you an opportunity to see if you like them. You can always change your mind. The basic and free photo editing with PicMonkey is very good and has most of the features that I like.
