  1. Oh, I can see how you selected these exquisite tomes!

My choice would be Tricia Guild's "Designing with Flowers". Ever since I encountered her for the first time, have I been in love with the joie de vivre her work reflects, her choice of colors, the way she juxtaposes them.

Your work, Gina, reflects similar joie de vivre. The flower arrangement on Tricia's book cover immediately made me think of you.

    1. Dear Rosemary, Wish I could send one of these books to you...It's the postage that makes it more expensive than the worth of the book. Thank you for stopping by. I always look forward to your lovely comments. ox, Gina

  3. Hi Gina!

I love all the books... each one of them looks interesting. My favourite one, though, is the one about designing with flowers, as I love nature and believe that objective beauty, balance and harmony of forms can only be found in Nature.

So much art has been inspired by flowers. Flowers decorate the beautiful heads of many "Stunners" as painted by D.G. rossetti. Happiness can only be found in Nature, inspiration and love, pure love, are within beautiful, unspoilt, rich, colourful, scented nature.

Flowers are beautiful and can be perceived with and by all our senses. Designing with Nature would be a book I would like to own, as I think it would inspire me... enormously!

By the way, yes... I also have a USA address, in NY!

  4. Dear Gina - These are all great books, and I can see why you would have been drawn to them.

My choice would be "Stencilling on a Grand Scale" (because I like to do things on a grand scale!) or "Decorating Magic" (because I know so much of good decoration is indeed an illusion!).

  7. What a fabulous selection!!! But my very first choice is Tricia Guild's book "Designing With Flowers". Flowers are a HUGE part of my life and my soul. I am an avid gardener, always painted flowers for my own designs back when I was licensing artwork and love all of Tricia Guild's work!!! Here's hoping!
