  1. Thanks, Gina, for a delightful slice of Americana! When I saw that first photograph, I thought, "Oh, off he goes into town for the mens' coffee bunch." I remember that great earlier photograph of all the parked tractors.

    1. Dear Mark, We were celebrating Pioneer Day, a Mormon Holiday. The state of Utah holds many parades but it is the small towns that put on the really big show.

    1. Dear Sieglinde, It was a perfect day. The Gentleman Farmers brought their hard working tractors to the parade. All of them are used almost every day for one task or another.

  3. Congratulations with the 1st place of the Gentlemens Farmers tractor show. It's a fact I love vintage tractors as an old farmgirl, but I love horses even more. Beautiful post!

    1. Dear Rosemary, Yes one would think so but this time Mr G had to spend a little more time "fixing up" his beloved Ford Jubilee tractor.

    1. Hello Mary, the weather was perfect and still is. In the fifties at night and in the eighties during the day and sunshine and blue skies. But we don't have your beautiful figs growing on our trees.
