How Many?

Have you counted yours?

It's 1,053 posts for me.

The following was first published on

January 3, 2014,  my No. 600 post.

It all began in July of 2009.  Have no idea what possessed me.

I think that I was walking in my garden,
early one morning, with coffee cup in hand.

When it occurred to me that I wanted to share with you

Our life in the country

with creatures great and small.

Building a new house.

Share with you my passion for growing flowers.

Inside

and Out.

Many recipes from my kitchen.

And painting recipes for walls.

And ceilings.

Easter Eggs.

Christmas Ornaments.

And printed paper.

The happy day I bought this rubble

for $500 cash.

and turned it into a treasure.

Travels to Europe

And exotic places.

Painting at the Scuola d' Arte in Deruta, Italy.

Painting ceramics.  So, so many and now almost forgotten.

All sent off, never to see again,
hopefully making new owners happy.

So grateful to each and everyone of you.

Thank you for visiting, reading and commenting.
Without you, my dear Readers, it wouldn't be half the fun.

And still grateful to this day.
Gina

  2. Dear Gina - Congratulations - I remember the first time that I discovered your blog many years ago and I was immediately bowled over by your magical colours, and your great style, which still continues today. I found you via Mark Ruffner, I know that you will remember him - I wonder what he is doing now?

    1. Dear Rosemary, Mark Ruffner did us both a favor. Without him I would never have had your gift of beautiful photographs and such well researched material. I remember Mark well. He added such class and charm to our little circle. I wonder if he still likes his Pompeian Room.

    2. Dear Gina, dear Rosemary, I, too found each of you and Mark Ruffner but which one was first??? My memory has it's 'ins' and 'outs' - sometimes it arrives and surprises everyone - me included! But this time...I have to make a guess and I think it was you, Gina! And which thread led me to you??? Too far away but oh, how happy and inspired I have been to have found all three of you and your talents. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  5. Dear Gina,
We are all so glad that you began blogging. I discovered you a few years ago and love the colourful images you show of your flowers and your painting. But I think I need to go back to the beginning and read all the posts!
