Better late than never

 They look a little bedraggled

A late frost hit them at the wrong time

Spring is late this year.

In the meantime

Clyde is up to his old tricks again.

The pair of wild Canada Geese do all the work and

when their goslings hatch, Clyde our resident goose, steals them away.

Getting ready for bed.

Happy days to you and yours,

Gina

  1. Daffodils are the flower of Wales - we have thousands in our hedgerows and fields - near my house they grow them commercially too. But they must flower much earlier here - March usually ; April would be late. Now we have thrifts and campions and bluebells - the coast is ablaze with colour.

  2. Dear Gina - I think that Clyde must bring you endless hours of delight and fun watching what he is doing on your pond. He does appear to be the one who is in charge of what happens there. Sleeptight, and happy days to you too.

  3. Clyde is such a character! Love the daffodils. We're having a chilly spring, too, and everything is much later than normal.
