  1. Dearest Gina, lovely to see you pop up here and thanks for your comment left on my post. I truly was thinking of you this morning as I started gathering the Christmas bits and bobs around the kitchen, wondering how your Christmas was and whether it's a 'white one' this year. Perhaps you and Sadie were out making snow angels......or deep footprints in the snow! I recall the photos of you and dear Gene in the sleigh taking the neighbors for country rides - always so jolly and one of the great traditions at this time of year in your lovely town.
We are doing quite well, fighting off these ugly respiratory viruses that seem to be everywhere, and staying snug by the fire in the evenings as we don't enjoy driving at night - the traffic has become so bad and our night vision worse!! Hopefully the coming year will be kind to us all, and the whole world will work on becoming a good place once again!
Sending best wishes and warm hugs dear friend - you are missed but never forgotten.
Our love, Mary & Bob oxoxoxo

    1. Dear Mary, Had a very quiet Christmas and New Year. A few friend's stopped by and we had champagne by the fire. It's been very cold here and cold for many weeks, sadly no snow. It finally snowed yesterday afternoon but nothing to write home about./.

  2. Dear Gina - so lovely to see you here and also have a visit from you during this busy Christmas season. Hoping that all is well with you and that you are not housebound by deep snow.
One of my granddaughters did Christmas this year for the first time, which was lovely. We felt very spoilt. She lives an hour away, and when we left to return home in the evening it was pouring with rain. Luckily there was not much traffic on the roads, so had a fairly quick journey home. Today has been very mild with lots of sun.
    Take care dear GinaπŸ’—πŸŽ…πŸŽ„☃️❄︎

    1. Dear Rosemary,
For some reason snow has not come our way. It snowed a little yesterday afternoon. It will melt by this afternoon.
My eyesight is improving a little. A new idea might help. Oddly enough your script is much easier to readt han most other scripts. I am grateful that my sight is not as bad as it could be. For now driving, painting or reading is difficult , hence, for now, my long abstinences from blogging.
For now I am doing well. I live in beautiful surroundings. Neighbors make sure I'm all right and my loyal dog Sadie keeps me company and very busy.
I wish you and your family continued good health and many years of happiness.

  3. Dear Gina,
Merry Christmas! I hope you have had a lovely Christmas celebration with people you love. I imagine you have snow and I envy you a wee bit, as here on Vancouver Island it's been very mild, cloudy, and a bit rainy. We had our children and grandchildren over and there was lots of activity. Now we're enjoying these days between the years.
    Have a good day.

    1. Dear Lorrie,
For some strange reason snow has passed us by. This time last year we were inundated with the white stuff. I hope that this pattern changes soon for our farmers desperately need the moisture. Hope you have a happy year ahead and that you and your beautiful family stay well.
