It was a big Day!

And it was a very successful day.
Made money for the old School restoration
and a little money for myself.

An early morning stroll through the historic center of Deruta, Umbria, Italy, with my camera last October.
Thought you might like to see how the Italians do it.

Have a great week my dear

Glad your Heritage Day Celebration was a hit! I knew it would be.

  2. I notice that these artists create some pretty subtle shading with their glazes — beautiful!

  5. Dear Mary, Heritage Days was a grea hit. Wind blew 60 miles per hour yet visitors kept coming and were generous with their praise and pocket money.

  6. Dear Mark, Did you also notice that they paint a bright orange on top of yellow. It took me a while to figure it out.

  7. Dear Val, Oh dear. I didn't mean to give you the wrong impression. I took these photos last October. Thought my blogging friends would like to see how the Italians do it.
However, tickets are purchased for September and early October.
