Mein Blumenstrauss fürs wochenende

Lady's Mantle

Lady's Mantle (alchemilla vulgaris) has very thin but also very sturdy stems...
perfect for arranging in large containers lined with chicken wire.

Lady's Mantle is a long lasting Perennial, seeding itself wherever it can find an open spot, showing up in the most unexpected places.

Large leaves hold water droplets which glisten in the sun, pretending to be precious jewels.

Lady's Mantle is long lasting, perfect for arranging with other flowers.

Have a great weekend my dear

  2. Dear Gina - how stunning the Lady's Mantle looks in that lovely blue vase just on it's own. I love the way it lights up the borders with its limey green flowers even on a dull day. I have it edging a border almost like a small hedge, I just need to remember to give it a trim when it starts seeding♥

  3. You always manage to arrange things so beautifully. I love the large urn as well as the beauty of your flowers. I wonder if this would grown in USA, zone 6...hmmm You have a great weekend too~

  5. Dear Rosemary, sometimes it's better to show blooms en masse. I have a Lady's Mantle that only grows to half the size. However, it does not have the same color of lime green but it does make a nice border also.

  6. Dear Mary, I think that Lady's Mantle would do fine in zone 6. It might bloom earlier than June in your area. But the leaves will look great for the rest of the year. Give it a try.
