Sunday morning drive

Going for a Sunday Drive.

So many roads to follow.
And always the bluest of skies.

Cattle up to their ears in tall grasses.

Alfalfa stacked 2 tons high.

Looking towards home.

Home again.

Just in time

for a Champagne Brunch

Have a great Sunday my dear friends.

Gin

  1. Dear Gina,

I looked at all five of your landscape photographs and thought, "Gee, that would make a great painting!" Your corner of the world is very inspiring, indeed!

    1. Dear Mark, What I love most about living in the country are the wide open spaces. In the city we lived in a canyon. A beautiful canyon and only 7 miles from downtown. But the views were limited. This new country spot suits me just fine.
Oh, and you are welcome to paint any one of the scenes but you have to promise to show it to us.

By the way, we found a wonderful country inn for our September visit to Tuscany. It is located in the small town of Bibbona, "La Locanda di Villa Toscana. You have probably visited it and know of its charms.

    1. Dear Sieglinde, I know that you are happy to have a bit of rain to help cool things down. Our morning drive took us to heretofore undiscovered country lanes. And they were so near our house. We discovered new and old homesteads and wide open country with nothing but blue skies and white clouds.
You must get acquainted with Elvira's blog. You will be stunned at her photographic skills. Going back to all of her posts will be a pleasure you will not soon forget.
