The Event.

It's here.

The Annual Plein Air Competition

and

Artist Studio Tour, Spring City, Utah.

The four day event will culminate tomorrow morning with the announcement of winners.

Artists from near and far will have painted in
en plein air for 3 days.

A trip around our environs, late afternoon yesterday, found several participants painting local scenes.

After the winners of the plein air Competition are announced and prizes have been awarded, the Annual Artist Studio Tour will commence.

Unlike Pasha, I have been busy.

My Studio will be open Saturday.

I have been painting, not blogging

Wish you could come for a visit.

Have a great weekend.

Gina

    1. Dear Sieglinde, Cats have a way of looking comfortable wherever and whatever. Pasha does have beautiful eyes. To think that no one wanted him and he is the most loving and well mannered little gentleman.
The plein air competition is only for artists who paint on canvases out in the fresh air. The studio tour event does not begin until after the plein air competition.

  2. . . . . . . Oh yes, dear Gina, I so wish I could be there also to visit you and see your beautiful art.
Lucky are they who choose to do your studio tour.
Pasha looks so beautiful with bluer than blue eyes - matching your fabric even - perfect color coordination going on there!
Have a fabulous 'event' and enjoy the entire holiday weekend dear.
    Hugs - Mary

    1. Dear Mary, I think that Pasha knows where he looks best. He spends a lot of time lounging around...that is the way of a cat, I guess. At least he is no trouble at all. And yes, his blue eyes are remarkable.

Who knows, maybe one of these days you will come this way. And when you do you would be so welcome to stay with us in the Guest Cottage. Remember, there are 5 beautiful National Parks nearby.

    2. You are always so kind to me dear Gina. We really hope to come back your way, perhaps next year when we don't have plans for as much overseas travel. Even though we've seen every US state, many several times, there are still places dear to us - such as the fabulous natl. parks out west, that we could see over and over again! So don't be surprised if we show up - of course we'd give you plenty of advanced notice, LOL! It would be such fun to meet you both. . . . . I know we'd have an awesome time together.
Love and hugs again - M

  4. Hello Janneke, thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. His eyes were the first thing I noticed when little Pasha showed up on our property. It took us a while to fatten him up.

    1. Dear Rosemary, Pasha has also stolen our hearts. From a little kitty who had to be rescued from a tall tree to the Pasha we now know was a happy journey. He is the sweetest little fellow.
I'm looking forward to all the visitors, old and new, who will be coming by today.

    1. Dear Frances, This is the perfect time of the year, in this part of the world, to come for a visit. The weather is perfect and our garden is bountiful and Pasha is not shy about making new friends.

  7. Pasha has stolen your post, Gina. I do not believe in reincarnation but have always hoped that if I were to be that I would be a fat white cat but I never chose my eye color. I think I had unconsciously leaned toward green eyes but that was before I saw your Pasha. The blue of his eyes must be your inspiration for your beautiful ceramics!
