You don't have a garden where you can putter around?

Maybe this post will give you a few ideas.

Pots are the answer.

Bougainvillea do well in pots

Petunias are easy

Pick up a few clay pots

Look around your house for containers.

A few welcome flowers by the front door.

By an old fountain.

Up and down the steps

A little corner by the table.

Pots placed where a little color is needed.

Urns make great containers.

Great if you have a balcony

On the way to the terrace.

Any ledge will do.

My Begonias have been in these pots for many years.

Pansies to greet visitors by the front door.

All you need is a little potting soil and a few containers.

  1. Your garden in pots is a wonder to see, Gina. Such glorious colour. You truly have a green thumb! Your place looks like it could be in Italy or southern France. So, so beautiful. I know it's still chilly there, but take heart, soon those flowers will be blooming once again for you!

    1. Dear Lorrie,
I'm still waiting for my daffodils. Have a few Hellebore blooming. My potted flowers are still in the greenhouse. I visit them every day.

  2. What a decorator's touch, Gina! Placing that attractive coral hat beside the white wicker! I'm thinking and feeling like I just took a mini-visit to a villa in sunny Italy! I needed that! Grazie, Gina!

    1. Dear Mary,
You give me too much credit. The hat was in my way so it ended up on the little table. I love gardening in pots. Instant Success.

  3. How blessed I feel to have actually seen your pots and garden beds bursting with colors just like this!
Gina your gardens are gorgeous and your home something from a fairytale - so beautiful, in fact the most beautiful I've ever visited!
    Stay well, hugs XX

  4. My dear Mary,
I hardly know what to say. When taking photographs I always cheat a little. I only show the most colorful spots and leave out the "forgotten" corners. Last year, the large Alfalfa field, was not tended to. And I would have liked for it to look better because we had an outdoor wedding. As of yesterday our farmer (to whom we have leased our acreage) is working tirelessly reseeding the fields. It will be beautiful and green again.
