Guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr

And so it was.
A very good Year.

The Haflingers pulled us into the New Year.

And  champagne did the rest.

Happy New Year dear Friends.

  1. Dear Gina,
our Rutsch into the new year was not accompanied by a pair of Haflingers, but only several glasses of Champagne.
Oh, so bubbly and delicious! Now let us look forward to a new promise.............

  2. Dear Gina - what a lovely picture of the two of you, and the Haflingers - such handsome horses. I loved my first meeting with Haflingers in Austria last year and of course immediately thought of you and your wonderful sleigh ride.
Happy days to you both in this New Year 2017

    1. Dear rosemary, Just the other day I heard that I missed out on another sleigh ride. This time pulled by a pair of very large Klydsdales. That must have been a beautiful sight.
Wishing you and yours everything that is beautiful and full of adventure.

  3. You do look fabulous in that beautiful coat Gina enjoying your white Christmas!
No snow in southern England - some rainy days and then a couple of crisp sunshiney ones! Caught a horrid cold which I've now shared with Bob, so we didn't even venture into town for the planned New Year's Eve shenanigans - the couch and a bottle of bubbly at hand was all we needed!

Happy New Year dear friends - Mary & Bob

    1. Dear Mary, Sorry about the cold. So inconvenient especially when you are traveling. Now that you're home I hope that you can take time to take care of yourself... and Bob. Unpacking can wait.
Wishing you and Bob a very happy and healthy New Year.

  5. A Beautiful and Happy New Year to you Dear Gina. What marvelous snaps of you all and the horse drawn sleigh. That is absolutely a dream that I have had since my childhood and one day, somehow, I shall make that happen... Hugs
