Painting ceramic tiles is not so difficult
Jacki drove all the way from Texas to take one-on-one painting lessons. Jacki had not painted ceramics.
We deliberately aged the above tile to give it more character.
Jacki improved in leaps and bounds and even surprised herself.
You can see her lines improving as she gains more practice.
On the second day Jacki graduated from tiles to bowls.
The sunflower bowl was Jacki's very own design idea. I love it, I might have to steal it from her.
Tomorrow I have another student coming. Barbara is from California. She knows Renaissance Italian Maiolica well.
That is what I love about teaching... my students are always full of surprises.
I won't be blogging for a few days but I will show you the results from our painting session.
Have a great weekend my dear Blogging Friends
Gina
