A little blue flower

With the most charming name,
Forget-me-not

They say that blue flowers are more abundant in nature than any other color.

I thought that yellow flowers were the most common.

What do you think?

Have a lovely day my
dear Friends.

Gina

  1. Dear Gina,

I would guess white, yellow or red flowers are far ahead of blue. Perhaps you what you read was a printing error?

    1. Dear Mark, Could be. I will have to investigate. The reason I remember that it was blue is because I love all blue flowers especially those that are of the periwinkle kind.

  2. So, so pretty, and our Forget-me-nots should be opening up any day now ;)

    1. Dear Mary, That is wonderful that you also have Forget-me-nots. They are small but the blue is so vivid and their sweet little centers make one smile.

  3. Dear Gina,
The Forget-me-not are so lovely in your photo and I adore the tile with the beautiful lady inside the blue circle. Here the Texas Bluebonnets
fill the roadside at the moment and what a pretty sight they are. I can only say that blue flowers are abundant right now, but for a short time
    only.
    Warmest greetings, Sieglinde

    1. Dear Sieglinde, I have seen a few Texas Bluebonnets but never an entire field of them. What a wonderful sight it must be. I have tried to grow them but our climate just isn't right for them.

    1. Bonjour Martinealison, I am so glad that you also like blue flowers. I love combinations of blue, lavender and pink flowers.
      Gros bisous, Gina

  5. In my area, yellow would be the most predominant. I love the blue ones because they are a little more scarce to find!
