Can't help myself

Must go to Italy
and a few places in between.

Enough of bottling and canning.

It's time to make new discoveries.

The rest of the pears can wait.

Bon Voyage dear Friends.

See you soon.

    1. Thank you Frances. Mr G and I always have a great time. He is the pilot, I'm the co-pilot and away we go.

    1. Dear Rosemary, I love our camera. Thank you for the help in choosing it. I do have a question: What setting do you use when the light is very bright behind the subject. Do you let the camera adjust on its own and hope that it turns out all right?
As always, thank you for your help.

    2. I don't use any of the special settings Gina - if the light is very bright behind the subject e.g the Emperor Fountain photo which I took in the last post, then I found a tree to shield the camera from the bright light. It seemed to work out OK. I have just started using the Superior Auto setting - the yellow symbol to see how it works in comparison with the green symbol, but so far I am sitting on the fence with regard to the results.

  4. Dear Gina,
How lovely to put all your work to rest for a while and to take off for a different shore and on "To the land where the lemon trees grow".
Wishing you and Mr.G. a safe and happy vacation.
    Happy greetings, Sieglinde

    1. Dear Sieglinde, I am so ready to do something different. But I have been walking around our house and gardens. We have had an exceptionally beautiful Fall. I know that all will be frozen by the time we return.
Thank you for your good wishes.

  7. How wonderful for you Gina. of all of the places in the world that I would choose to visit, it would be Italy, and probably the Tuscan region. I shall look forward to the shares coming soon, to lift this weary spirit. Have a delightful journey~
