      Hello Filip, the arches belong to the upper town of Bibbona, a small town in Tuscany, near the ocean.

      Dear Rosemary, I love our camera. Thank you for the help in choosing it. I do have a question: What setting do you use when the light is very bright behind the subject. Do you let the camera adjust on its own and hope that it turns out all right?

      I don't use any of the special settings Gina - if the light is very bright behind the subject e.g the Emperor Fountain photo which I took in the last post, then I found a tree to shield the camera from the bright light. It seemed to work out OK. I have just started using the Superior Auto setting - the yellow symbol to see how it works in comparison with the green symbol, but so far I am sitting on the fence with regard to the results.

      Dear Sieglinde, I am so ready to do something different. But I have been walking around our house and gardens. We have had an exceptionally beautiful Fall. I know that all will be frozen by the time we return.
