Hello Mary, This is the time of year when flowers are ubandant even if one doesn't have a garden. Thank you for the good wishes. And have a wonderful weekend yourself.
Thank you for the bouguets! I especially enjoy how the character of the sunflower complements the pitcher you've chosen. Have a pleasant holiday weekend!
Hi Gina, I found you through Val. Your photographs are so beautiful and I love the hints you have given on different things. I will trying your pot pourri. Sarah x
Dear Rosemary, The Gypsy experience happened almost 30 years ago. It being such an old story I feel that it is too old to tell again. I did write a short story about it...I wrote it from the Horse's point of view.
Gina, you always find a way to present your flowers in a unique way! The sunflower head is so beautiful, amazing that the leaves are still so green after a long hot summer. Happy Labor day, Merisi
Dear Merisis, The sunflower petals have fallen off, now the sunflower can get busy making seeds. I was able to rescue this one from the birds who always pick on my best sunflowers.
Dear Georgianna, It's been a busy weekend here. One more day of the Artist Studio Tour. Thank you for the good wishes. Love your last post. Those Dahlia photos are sensational.
Well, I would say so, one must have flowers to show their happy faces at all times, city, country and everywhere in between. Have a wonderful weekend~

ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with Mark - thanks for the beautiful bouquets - and that pitcher with the sunflower is lovely.
ReplyDeleteDear Gina - the bouquets are lovely - I would enjoy both. Have just read gypsies, and I think it worthy of a repost!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Mary, I agree with you. One must have flowers, home grown vegetables and fruit are right after that.
ReplyDeleteDear Mark, you always notice the details. No wonder you are such a successful designer.
ReplyDeleteHello Sarah, So glad you found me. Would like to hear how your potpourri turns out.
ReplyDeleteHi LindyLou, You are so welcome. You can come to my garden and pick flowers...they have never looked better.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I found that pitcher in an antiques store many years ago. It mas made in England. I thought the colors were perfect for holding flowers.
