Dear Merisi, I've been watching your snow pictures. So not like the usual beautiful Spring weather of Austria. We will have more snow but for now the sun has been shining and it feels good to be outside. Your book is on its way. You will probably receive it next week. Happy Easter to you. ox, Gina
It's so hard to tell because I think I might also be counting flower buds (such a clever ploy!). But I count four golden eggs, so I know that you have that famous goose! Gosh, she must be old by now! Happy Easter, Gina!
Dear Mark, You mean our Goose Mathilda? Who turned out to be a boy but finally found a mate and had little goslings? Did you know that geese live to be forty years old. There are actually five golden eggs in the picture but you were close. Happy Easter. ox, Gina
Hello Gina! My guess is 12... All so beautiful and such fun! Did you paint those larger eggs?? They have your look about them! Happy Easter to you and your family. Warm regards, Erika
Dear Erika, Yes I painted the large Easter eggs and I gilded the golden eggs. Next week I will post the number of eggs in the picture. You are all getting mighty close and you, Erika, have a very keen eye. Happy Easter. ox, Gina
Dear Theresa, I know that I promised you a few eggs to paint. I can see you paint some of your special paint techniques. Goose eggs have been hard to come by. Will chicken eggs do? Have a very happy Easter. ox, Gina
Dear Karen, Your photos of Marrakech have been spectacular. We have been to all of the places you have photographed. Thank you for bringing back so many beautiful memories. We loved Morocco. What a fabulous place to visit. Happy Easter. ox, Gina
Gina, you've given us a gloriously colorful Easter greeting, and quite a egg counting challenge. Every time I start to count, I spot another image that might or might not actually be an egg..., and so, like Merisi, I almost cannot believe my eyes. Hard to settle on a final number...9, 10, 11...but shouldn't it truly be a dozen eggs!
Whatever the number, the image is fabulous. A very Happy Easter to you. xo
Dear Frances, Yes it could be a dozen, actually another kind of dozen. Thank you for your generous compliment. We both like colors, don't we. I see it in your choice of knitting yarns. Have a wonderful Easter. I look forward to seeing more pictures of New York, and they way you see it. ox, Gina
Dear Georgianna, I can't wait to see your Easter flowers. Wishing you and David a wonderful Easter. I will post the egg count tomorrow. Even I had trouble keeping count. ox, Gina
Dear Anna, I'm looking closely for any signs of packing up and leaving for Italy. In the meantime, I wish you and yours a wonderful Easter Holiday. ox, Gina
Dear Mary, You are correct, there are at least a dozen easter eggs to be found in my montage. I will expose the little jewels in a day or so. Happy Easter to you and yours. ox, Gina
10? Beautiful picture! I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteNow I see 14....I think. :)
