Dear Gina, what a precious photo of these happy faces. It is also a great idea to take pictures of the various kids coming to the door. The only problem is that they are always in a hurry to get to the next house. Last year the doorbell did not ring even once and I had to eat all the candy myself...............not a good thing, but oh, so sweet. I am looking forward to tomorrow's show in the dark. Have fun, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, Every year there are fewer and fewer little ghosts that show up at our door. These children are children of friends of ours. They always show up with the most wonderful (made by their mother) costumes. Candy, I have to give it all away. I can't have it in my house...I could nor would ever resist chocolates.
Happy Halloween Gina!!! I hope you are well-- I've been so busy with work that I've only been able to see your recent posts via my phone.... Not ideal!!! As always, I'm enjoying your beautiful photos-- your spooky visitors are more adorable than scary!! Warm regards, Erika
Dear Erika, I know that you have had a lot on your plate lately. And it's all wonderful. I'm looking forward to spending a little time with your new website and new products. An order is coming your way.
Happy Halloween back to you, Gina. Your little trick or treaters look great. Please do take some photos if they turn up again at your door tomorrow night.
I'm just back from a UK holiday, and having shed jet lag, am now enjoying catching up with posts I've missed. As always, yours are truly lovely.
Dear Frances, Welcome home. I have been enjoying your beautiful photographs from your visit to the UK. Looking forward to seeing more. Like you I love visiting the V & A Museum. I could spend (and have) hours in their ceramic collection. It is one of the finest in the world. Happy Halloween.
Dear Val, I'm ready with camera and goodies. This little group never disappoints. They have been stopping by for many years...even when the youngest were still babies. Happy Halloween to you and yours. ox, Gina
Dear Gina - It's good to see that children are still excited about Halloween. I imagine that Halloween retains all its deliciousness in more rural areas. And having seen the wonderful phototgraphs of your house, I can also imagine that the walk or drive up to it on Halloween Night is cause for happy anticipation.
Dear Mark, You are right. It is wonderful living in a very small community where everyone knows each other. The children try very hard not to be recognized...that is all part of the fun.
