    1. Dear Mary, Thank you so much for your order. I sent it off yesterday. As you know hollyhocks will not bloom the first year. They are bi annuals. I will send you some aster seeds from Lake Maggiore that you can interplant. Asters will bloom the first year. They reseed themselves and will provide color for many years.

  2. Dear Gina,

The drawstring bags that I got a while back were great gifts in and of themselves, and though I saved my favorite two for myself, the others brought smiles from my friends!

    1. Dear Mark, I am so happy to hear that my little bags found good homes. They are very practical and solve the problem of always having to find the perfect container for small and varied gifts.

  3. Gina, you are so kind - thanks for mailing so quickly, can't wait to get the package! I already know who will be getting a special Valentine necklace tucked inside one of your beautiful bags - will share that later as I don't want her to see it until V-Day!
Yes, do realize the hollyhocks are biennial. One year I did get a few to bloom but I think most of the seeds were dug up by the squirrels! This time I must cover with landscape mesh or something.

    1. Dear Mary, Look for a package in the next few days. I'm sending annual Aster seeds that are foolproof. You can rake them into loose soil as soon as March 1st.
