I'm ordinarily not a fan of Halloween because in my part of the country it has become too commercialized. But I imagine that where you live the traditions have the feel of my childhood, and that you will be charmed many times this evening. I'd love to be a fly on the wall!
Dear Mark, There is one particular family who come by every Halloween. They wear the most original and home made costumes. Just their makeup alone could win them an Oscar. I have the chocolates ready. Can't wait to see what they have cooked-up for this Halloween. Happy Halloween to you.
Dear Gina, these friends do not seem all that spooky in the bright light of day, all friendly smiles with or without teeth. At night, after dark, it may be a different sight..........Boooooooooo! Happy Halloween, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, These charming spooks have come out every year and have placed themselves along a fence. The wind, snow and sun have done wonders to their costumes. . . getting better looking every year. Happy Halloween to you and your family.
Dear Mary, We all get a little behind now and then. I'm still trying to catch up after spending time in Europe. Still working on a large project as well. I do find time to read your lovely posts and I always admire your beautiful photography. Happy Halloween to you and yours.
