I am celebrating because this is my
Blog Post No. 700
I was told that this large jewel was too big for a short girl like me.
How can that be?
I was not deterred. It has been my Talisman for over 50 years.
Follow your own heart.
Thank you dear friends for reading me.
Gina

DeleteI'm glad you were not deterred, Gina, because the jewel is gorgeous, and I'm sure it fits you perfectly. My mother never put away beautiful things for later, always living by the standard, "The best is barely good enough!"
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on Post Number 700, and many more! — Mark
Dear Mark, You might recall my Motto: "Too much is not enough" . I like your Mother's even better "The best is barely good enough".

Dear Frances, Our Alfalfa fields are the most prized possessions of them all. They give us grand vistas and ever changing surroundings.

Dear Sieglinde,
DeleteBecause of blogging I have met you. What a wonderful gift. One of these days you might want to join the blogging world...you have such an artistic eye for creating beautiful vignettes saturated with color and style. I would love to see you share your talent.
Dear Gina, wow, what a magnificent talisman you have! It looks really precious, special and STRONG. Am sure it protects you and your lovely being well. have a lovely sunday!
ReplyDeleteDear Martina, My 64 carat yellow Topaz came from a mine in Montana. It was originally a ring but I never felt comfortable wearing it. The Jeweler who designed the setting was Norman Berndt., a true artist.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week and thank you for stopping by.
