Dear Gina, your Pansies are charming indeed and I wonder where you find such beauties. Do you grow them from seeds as you do so many of your colorful and unique treasures? Your photos are outstanding and vibrant and I see blue skies in the background. Here it is getting already too hot for Pansies. Wishing you happy gardening, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, There is a special grower, about 50 miles from here, who grows the most beautiful Pansy varieties every year. I have not tried growing Pansies from seed. They have to be started early, like in November. Then I have to take care of them throughout the cold winter months. I know that you planted pansies very early...your climate is much more moderate than ours. Pansies may wilt as it gets warmer, but while they are blooming, they are definitely worth while.
One thing we have in San Pete County, always the bluest of skies.
Pansies with their range of faces and colour-ways are a delight - lovely, sunny, pretty photos Gina, and thank you for all of your kind comments on my recent posts.
Dear Rosemary, Pansies do make me happy. They are the one colorful flower I can grow early in the year without having to move them inside every night. There will be more frosty nights and then we will head straight into high desert temperatures. So many challenges to keep the garden going. Your photos of your recent trip to India have been exceptional. You have shown us scenes and details that have been an eye opener.
Dear Mark, The Frizzy Lizzy pansies are full of surprises. Every morning another color combination brightens my day. I love them all. Have a great week.
Gina, your pansies are perfect!! Yes, they would certainly bring big smiles to all who lay eyes on them, including me! Thanks for all the bright and beautiful mosaics; they're gorgeous!

These pansies are all so beautiful. I am for the first time on your blog and have been reading older posts. I enjoyed it very much and will be your new follower from The Netherlands. Regards, Janneke
They are indeed happy little plants aren't they? You know you had me at the 'Lavender Shades' although I really like them all. Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Gina. Happy Gardening!
Pansies and violas have always been my absolute favorite flowers. Pansies amaze me with their variance in color and design and seem a little "frilly and fussy" but thrive well in cold, snowy weather. Yours are very beautiful.
Dear Theresa, I may complain about our unpredictable weather but when it comes to cold loving flowers such as tulips, Daffodils and Pansies, they really make a big show early in the year. I also love Pansies and can't imagine a Spring without them.
Oh Gina, these are superb and show off the charming flowers, the Pansies just perfectly. I adore their vivid colours and those faces, who could not smile with such lovely flowers in ones view. Happy week~
Hello Mary, and a happy week to you. You are right, it is the happy faces that make Pansies so charming. I never know what new color will appear, every morning a surprise.
Wow Gina!!! I've never seen such beautiful Pansies sorts before! Absolutely beautiful!!! Enjoy just the same wonderful weekend like your Pansies have colours! Katrin :)
