. . . . . . so happy you have returned safe and sound, we were just talking about how it must be time for your return. Meanwhile, today is a dry run here - I'm trying to pack 3 weeks worth of stuff into a weekend size suitcase and small backpack - it's tough going and this trip we certainly will be very casual. Thankfully won't know anyone - and any friends we are likely to make along the way will hopefully take us as they find us, haha!
Looking forward to hearing about your wonderful time in beautiful Italia Gina! Hugs - Mary
Dear Mary, It was a good thing that I had plenty of layers to fall back on. The second week of our stay in Italy was rainy and cold. We had a car so rain gear was not neccessary and aften, in the afternoon, the sun came out and warmed us. I am so glad to be home but know how excited you are for your upcoming trip. That is as it should be. We love to go and then it's wonderful to be back. Can't wait to see your pictures.
Glad that you are home safely Gina - I couldn't agree more about jet lag taking its toll as we get older. Look forward to hearing and seeing more once you have recovered.
Dear Rosemary, Life is almost back to normal. An 11 hour flight is not easy and it gets tougher each time but it's worth it. It's been cool around here so my spring flowers are still in their glory. What a wonderful sight to come home to.
Welcome home, Gina. The vista in the photograph makes a beautiful introduction for the reports from your Italian stay. I will be patient!
For myself, jet lag is more serious for journeys to Europe and for the westward return home. This could be because I usually travel eastward overnight.
Dear Frances, Thank you for welcome. It was great to walk along ancient routes. Italy is still my most favorite country to visit. It could have something to do with those beautiful Italian Renaissance images.
