Is it really going to snow tomorrow?

We have no snow, only bare trees.

Our mountains are usually packed with snow by now.

Someone has pushed all of the snow to the rest of the country.

We are getting worried.

Keeping fingers crossed.

  1. Gina, it visited us yesterday! 7 inches of beautiful heavy snow which made the garden a winter wonderland! Much melting today with the sunshine but of course hazardous roads with refreezing tonight as we just don't have snow removal equipment here. We are 'snowbound' for a few days. . . . . . and I love it!

    Hugs - Mary

    1. Dear Mary, You are smart in that you stay home during your snowstorms. Besides it's lovely to be 'snowbound'.
We expect snow this time of year and our snow removal equipment has been ready to go for weeks. We all worry about not having enough water for the coming growing season. Snow is predicted...maybe even tonight.

  2. How extraordinary Gina - it does sound as if your annual snow load has taken itself elsewhere.
I was pleased to see the snow we had just before Christmas. It lasted for a couple of days and was particularly beautiful due to the brilliant sunshine, but happy when it departed.
If you really do want it, then I hope it arrives soon for you.

    1. Dear Rosemary, Yes, we really want that snow and we need it in our high desert area. I remember your beautiful photos of your garden all decked out in white finery.
This year is different for us and maybe it will come a little later. Our cross country skis are leaning up against a tree, ready to go.
