    Shadows are lengthening here, too. Now at 9 pm it's completely dark all around as I sit in a pool of light on the deck. I'm definitely enjoying summer's last days, and I hope we have an Indian summer that lingers long into September and early October.

      Dear Lorrie, The morning sun is already taking his time to appear, however, makes up for it by spectacular evening shows. Thank you for stopping by.

    Dear Gina - it is now 7.30pm and as I look out of the window the sky is still a lovely summer blue but there are also small pink streaks as sunset slowly begins her entrance.
    Today has been my birthday, and I have always had a feeling, since I was a child, that I was born on the cusp of summer entering into autumn.

    evenings are darker here already and the sun is lower which means I have to use a different room to work from home now. I do love the evenings drawing in like this, Autumn is my favourite time of year.
