Dear Gina - your pond looks stunning - I wonder if that is a glass of your special homemade cherry liqueur? Keep yourself cosy and safe. The snow here has melted away and we are supposedly having much warmer weather travelling up to us from the south tomorrow.
How wonderful that sounds,' warmer weather from the south is coming". No such good news for us in the Rockies. My celebration drink is Glühwein made with apple cider and red wine along with a few spices. It sits on the cooktop all day filling the air with Christmas through ought the house. Thank you for your sweet comment.
Dear Gina, It may be cold, but it's certainly beautiful in the clear air. Gluhwein is a delicious way to warm up - we are looking forward to having some on Christmas Eve. It is cold here today, and snow is falling steadily. It's good to be home by the fire. Merry Christmas, Gina, wishing you Christmas joy.
Dear Lorrie, I know much you enjoy a big snow storm and it looks like that is just what happened in your bale of the woods. I hope that a little will be left by the time Christmas comes around,
Such a spectacular pond picture dear Gina. I would love to be sitting there with you sipping from that beautiful glass, then pulling on my boots and walking with you and Sadie around Villa Vista gardens. A hot chocolate on the veranda afterward, then a warmup in your beautiful kitchen. . . . . . .before we made another of your delicious quiches! Remember? Here it is cold also, but no snow expected over Christmas just chilly days and below freezing nights. We've filled the bird feeders and the squirrels are sharing. Our holidays will be low-key. We did dress up and go to a fun party Sunday evening but that's about it - now I must off and bake! Bob and I send love and hugs, stay safe and warm. Mary XX
Dear Mary, This weather is for the strong at heart. So very cold and nothing but blinding snow. But we can always gather around the fire and tell tall tales.
that is quite an outstanding picture Gina ) we have had incredibly low temps in the UK which I really wasn't prepared for as we don't have the insulation let alone the right clothing for sub zero temps. Snows all gone here now.
Dear Betty, I know how you feel. luckily I was able to bring up some cold weather gear. Thank you for commenting. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas.
