Snow

 New snow every morning

Aren't we lucky

To the house, looks a lot closer than it is.

It gets farther and farther away when you begin shoveling

Even white inside

Days are short

Wishing you a great week ahead,

Gina

  1. .......and we hope you have some help with the shoveling dear friend! Looks so pretty though, especially the pond - but I don't see the mountains usually visible behind it so am thinking you're getting a lot of snow!
Your flowers are beautiful, I can almost smell the fragrance from here.
Take care Gina - sending love xx

    1. Dear Mary, The snow is so welcome. Seven feet of it is reported in the near mountains. Been trying to spend more time outside but temperatures are in the low teens. Only Sadie thinks its perfect.

  2. Dear Gina - no snow here, lots of sunshine, blue skies but very cold and frosty first thing in the morning.
I hope that you are keeping yourself cosy and warm and that you have some help to get around if necessary.
Love to see paperwhites at this time of the year, they are such a pretty fore runner of spring and promises of more to come.

    1. Dear Rosemary, My house is cozy and warm and with a few flowers to cheer up the day, it is almost ok But we have several more months before we see the first flowers. Your garden looks sensational. It must be such a joy to work in it.

  3. Oh, I do hope you don't have to shovel that entire driveway yourself! Such a beautiful view over the pond. Our snow disappeared around Christmas (we never get much), but there is sometimes more snow in February, so we'll wait and see.
Your white cyclamen and paperwhites perfectly reflect the outside. Have a good week.

    1. Dear Lorrie, A farmer friend comes by with his monster machine and clears the lane to the house. I shovel snow from 4 balconies, lane to the greenhouse, lane to the barn and lane to the garages. Everything else is piling up in great mountains. Will be interesting to see if we get more snow and what will happen when it all begins to melt.

  4. Aren't you luck - yes you are! I always say the predominant season in Wales in 'grey'. I love it regardless, but oh for some sunshine (and snow!) at times.

  5. Hello Professor, When I think of Wales I think of Daffodils, bunches and bunches everywhere. I have lots of snow but not one flower in sight. Thanks for your visit.
