The Year that was - Part II



Never imagined that I would be so fortunate.



And travel to Europe every year.

To paint ceramics at the Scuola d'Arte in Deruta, Umbria, Italy.

    I get a big goofy grin when I read this! You so deserve to do this. I can just see you there, in your element with like minded people painting away!....I don't envy the logistics of getting there though. :)

    Dear Theresa, I know what you mean...the logistics. It's a little easier now that we have a direct flight from Salt Lake to Paris. I know that is a long way from Deruta but taking time along the way and smelling the roses is a lot of fun.

    Dear Mark, What a compliment! My story is really a very ordinary story...there are many stories like mine. What I do know is that I am so fortunate that my Parents decided to emigrate to the United States so that we could have a new beginning. I am so blessed and so grateful. A sincere wish for your happiness and good health for the coming year sent to you from a very cold Utah countryside. Gina
