As you know dear Gina I am still here and you were really on the ball this morning, I can vouch for that. Bravo, yours was the first correct answer to my little New Year's day quiz.
Dear Rosemary, Once you see this spectacular piece of art one can never forget it. So now we know where you spent your Christmas Holidays. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year, dear Gina, and thank you for sharing your art, the planting, harvesting and preserving, each in its season, travels through marvelous places in Europe, and helpful tutorials on how to make simple things shine like gold. You are one of a kind and I love to visit with you. Warm hugs, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, I am the lucky one to have such a wonderful friend. Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year. A new Year which will bring health and happiness to you and yours. I am so fortunate to have you as a friend.
And yes, 2016 is off to an energized beginning here...not everyone head down to stand in the middle of Times Square waiting for midnight. I've had black-eyed peas for luck and actually worked today...all the while wondering who would want to go shopping for clothes on New Year's Day.
Dear Frances, I forgot about the black-eyed peas. I used to incorporate them in my Ossobuco Milanese con Gremolata recipe, a recipe I brought home with me from our cooking school experience in Venice. I will quickly rectify my oversight because I need that good luck. Happy New Year Frances.
. . . . almost, but I'm paying for it this morning, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteMore later when I get myself together.
Hugs - Mary

Dear Janneke, that's what is important, Survival. Happy New Year to you and yours.
