Salpiglossis growing in my Garden
Salpiglossis are a cross between the Petunia and the Nicotiana (Tobacco Flower)
They're an Annual, grown from seed.
They prefer cool nights.
They make excellent cut flowers.

Dear Gina - your Salpiglossis are simply gorgeous and what a delightful mix of colours they display. There are so many unusual colour combinations amongst them - how wonderful nature is.

DeleteI can not imagine my garden without these pretty flowers. They take everyone by surprise. I am wondering if they would grow in your climate. Our area has been plagued with very dry conditions. Me thinks that Salpiglossis would do well in areas where cool and humid conditions prevail.
They are very pretty, and a new flower to me. Such great colours.

All is well, mostly. We are experiencing very high temperatures and water shortages. Even our drinking water reserves are low. I feel somewhat guilty that I have plenty of water from my pond.
The bus has not shown itself again but then I have my gate closed most of the time. What I do have is marauders who are tearing up my trees to get to the apricots. My two footed and four footed visitors are not as polite or as cute as your rabbits, etc.
