This little hand painted bag holds a Treasure
Next summer, when it is in full bloom, will it know that this was its original place? Will it stretch its charming little face toward the sun and sway in the familiar breeze? Will it greet the strangers strolling by?
Of course, I am the one who will take it back. I am the one who snatched it away in the first place. And I am the one who painted the little muslin bag so it would have a proper presentation upon arrival.
And after I have completed my mission, I will go back, to my home, to my little Italy in Spring City, Utah.
Buon Viaggio

Wow! Where in Lago Maggiore is this from? My parents are from Lago Maggiore - precisely from the town of Ispra on the Eastern shore just north of Angera!!! I am finding so many exciting things on your blog :)
ReplyDeleteTesoro, As you can see I have been blogging for only a little while. It is so much fun sharing, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the little town, it was so long ago. So the seeds went to a friend nearby Lake Maggiore.

Hi Gina - I have only been blogging for a short while as well...you are much more inspired than me, though!!! I love reading your blog! I was so excited when I saw that you were in Lago Maggiore because that is almost my second home (I love it there!!!) Unfortunately, I cannot get there very often, but when I do, I am truly at home :)
