What a handsome little Fellow

His Mother loves him and so do we

Only a few hours old

What makes this little fellow so special?  He is a Miniature Hereford, a recognized, registered breed.

Her name is April and this is her first calf.
For now, I have named him King George.

But he is not mine, he belongs to our neighbors, Karen and John.

Happy Spring

Gina

  4. Dear Theresa, Black Angus are a fine breed of cattle. We purchased a small group of them at a Livestock auction a few years ago. That was the best part of the deal...the auction. Now we lease our property and let someone else worry about their well being.

  7. You're right Karin, I'm going to continue calling him King George. The name fits him so well. He is growing in leaps and bounds. Mother and calf are very happy.
