I stepped out of the door early this morning

I wanted to see my Daises in the Morning Light

On the way I noticed my yellow Iris blooming

Birds were protesting loudly at the front of the house

She is supposed to be in the barn not perched on top of my upstairs window

Another hop and she would be inside our  bedroom

She sat there, waiting for the sun to reach her, not paying any attention to the outraged birds

Oh yes, the Daisies

And Verbascum on the way

I must go back inside...there is work to be done

Have a great weekend, my dear Blogging Friends

  1. What fantastic shots, I never see them in the sunshine to capture. Your home, garden and pictures are magical...

  2. Gina, you are so unbelievably talented. The shots of the owl. Oh, your Tuscan villa, wow, the flowers are like the icing upon fluffy icing on the cake! xo,

  3. I actually gasped when I saw the first shot of the owl - how magnificent, and how lucky you are to have owls in your barn. Your gardens and surroundings seem magical in every season.

  4. Wow, another day in Gina and Gene's paradise. How magnificent every single thing is!! xo

  5. I'm with Karen, just gasped! So beautiful and you were very lucky to 'catch' her with your camera!
Und eine wunderschoene Margeritenwiese, everything looks so fresh and..spring-summer-sunshine, just simply good!

Lieben Gruss und wuensche Dir und Gene ein schoenes Wochenende mit einem hervorragenden Sonntagsfruehstueck mit selbstgemachter Marmelade!

  8. Picturesque beyond imagining.
And with an owl, to boot!

I believe where you live is called Paradise, Utah, is it not?

  9. Hi Gina...

First of all, my friend...your photos are fabulous! Ohhh...your home looks gorgeous with all the beautiful flowers in bloom! Hehe...I had to take a second look when I first saw the owl! That is sooo funny! Ohhh...you are right...he was very close to going inside! Hehe!

  11. Oh I like your Owl, I found you on Lalas blog, I live quite near to her here in Granada. As you can see I am quite obsessed with birds at the moment so your Owl was just what I wanted to see.

  12. Hi Kitty, Thanks for stopping by. Isn't Lala a very talented young woman! No wonder you are friends...your ceramics are very original and very special. I have become your newest follower.

  13. Dear, sweet Ladies, Splenderosa, Blue Moon, Barbara, Karen, Georgianna, Karin, RC, Happy, Snap, Linda, Ann, Chari and Pennies, how wonderful it was to read all of your wonderful and encouraging comments. Your comments mean so much and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Wishing you all a great week.

  14. So neat! Love that owl. Thanks for being a part of Seasonal Sundays. Sorry to be so late in visiting, but I've been away.

  15. Wow, Gina - where in the world do you live? It's utterly beautiful! And a big old owl on my window would given me the heeby-geebies! lol! We make our own salsa from our organic veggie garden, so I konw the work that goes in to canning and freezing. But so worth it, isn't it? :)
