Narrow tables are perfect.
A perfect serving table which can be moved to wherever it is needed.
This one is perfect because it can stay outside.
The surface is covered with hand painted ceramic tiles.
I love painting Montgolfier Tiles.
They're light hearted and charming.
One of these days I will muster up enough courage to go on a balloon ride.
Over the Serengeti or maybe in France this September, Montgolfier country.
Have a great remainder of the week my dear
Blogging Friends.

Dear Gina - what a lovely design for an outside table especially using the montgolfiere balloon design. I know that you mentioned it on Mark's latest post showing his balloon cigarette cards, but what a coincidence. I am also travelling along the same wavelength - H has promised me a ride in a balloon soon, hopefully over our home.
ReplyDeleteDear Rosemary, Please take your camera when you go for a balloon ride. Possibly, that will be sufficient for me. I am such a coward. ox, Gina
ReplyDeleteWow, Gina, we really were on the same wavelength! I've always enjoyed that the early Montgolfiere passengers were animals (I think people thought that if humans went up several hundred feet, they might pass out!).
ReplyDeleteYour table is charming, and I hope you get a hot air balloon ride someday — it's a great experience!
Dear Mark, Paiting balloons is easy, getting me into one of them will be a "Miracle of the Bells".
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, like all of your work.
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
Thank you Tablescaper and thank you for hosting your weekly parties.
ReplyDeleteDear Laura Ingalls, The table was very easy to put together and so was painting the tiles. The table will come in very handy for summer meals. Thank you for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI love these balloon tiles! What a great table! I've been drooling in your Etsy shop too. I may never get away from this blog. You are so talented. laurie
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie, I also like the old fashioned balloon tiles, the French Montgolfiere series are the most whimsical and wonderful.
