A lovely thought, Gina, and sad to think of all who are not Free and at Peace today. Or any day. What country did you come from? Thanks for visiting today. I answered you at F@H. xx dawne
Dear Dawne, My family came from East Prussia, Germany, by the Baltic Sea. When my Father was released from War Prison Camp in Siberia, we escaped from East Germany and were allowed to emigrate to the United States. I was a teenager and loved America right from the very start.
Hello Alycia, We were indeed lucky and very fortunate to be given the opportunity to live in the greatest country on earth. Thank you for taking the time to comment. It is so appreciated.
Dear Mark, Thank you. My family realizes what a great opportunity we were given. I am grateful to this country and to my parents for having made the decision to emigrate to the United States.
We're glad to have you here! You have made our country richer. Thank you for choosing to live in the best country on earth!
