Photo upload Icon not working

Minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit here

That is minus 29 degrees Celsius.

You're not alone.

The Photo Upload Icon has not been working for several days.
Blogger is investigating.

Until Blogger fixes the problem...

YOU CAN UPLOAD YOUR PICTURES IN HTML

I am told that it might also work in Google Chrome.

Will investigate.

Gina

    1. Dear Val, It's nice and warm inside. Heated floors make the difference. The icon problem is not worldwide but does affect many here in the U.S. No coubt Blogger will fix it soon...they always do.
I always worry about the animals when it gets this cold. Keeping my fingers crossed for a "January "Thaw.

  4. Maybe the problem does not exist for everyone. HTML is not as fast but will work in a pinch. Have a wonderful weekend Mark and I wish I was soaking up some of your sunny rays in sunny Florida.

    1. Gina,
a friend in Paris has the same problem, only able to upload in HTML.
I use Safari and experienced no problems so far. Funny thing is, I almost always upload in html. I feel more in control that way. ;-)

I am surprised your pond is not frozen over! Lake Neusiedl had a thin layer of ice last week, I net it's thicker by now.
      Stay warm,
      Merisi

    2. Dear Merisi, The pond is almost frozen over except for the area that never freezes. It is where the flow comes from a very deep spring. The temperature is always 65 degrees. Often we have more than 300 wild ducks swimming in that little area. It's the only open water.
That is interesting that you upload in html most of the time. I'm sure that I would get used to it. However, I do not like changes.
You're right. When you work with a large monitor it really makes no difference. And then, you have no control over how your readers view your post, large or small.

  5. P.S.: My Macbook is as good as gone. They want €1,600 for the repairs (new €3,000). I have bought a new one, smaller, 13" (the old one was 17"). I work with a large external monitor anyway.

  6. Gina, your weather report has made me reconsider my notion that it's cold in New York today. Your having heated floors in your home was inspired.

Hoping blogger starts treating you better soon. It is fascinating how strange hiccups seem to arrive and vanish. Perhaps it's a way for us to acclimate ourselves to change? A form of marinating something tough to make it easier to enjoy later on.

    1. Hello Frances, I don't like change much. It always wastes too much time. However, I agree with you "it makes it easier to enjoy later on".

  7. Thanks for sharing that. I had a feeling it was not me that had a problem..I did exactly what you suggested and thought to myself..wow..this is how it used to work. Maybe we should always leave well enough alone..hahaha..love your photo..and it's cold here but not that cold..
    Happy New Year!

  8. Crisp, clear blue sky and white snow! Lovely! Heated Floors - NECESSITY! Baby Lima Bean Soup solves part of the deep freeze, doesn't it!

Looking forward to a good 2013!\

  10. Brrrr....so cold for you and to have internet problems as well. I love the comments about the ducks. You seem to live so close to the earth...I love that about you. Always growing vegetables or lovely flowers and then drying them or putting them away for the winter. Your hands are always busy!

    1. Dear Theresa, Yes, I'm busy but I take lots of time off to celebrate and be with friends and also enjoy the changing seasons and all of our adopted animals.
