No idea Gina - I only recall seeing the cafe that Mr. G visits for breakfast with his tractor and it is not that. May be it is a building that has appeared on a TV show or film! It looks like some kind of civic building - too small for a school, may be a little museum or fire station. Will I have seen it or just those who live in the States?
Dear Rosemary, Did the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid come to England? So you were right when you thought that the scene might have appeared in a movie set. Grafton is a ghost town today but the last resident only left relatively recently, in 1945.
Ghost town of Grafton, Utah near Zion Park. Filming site for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
ReplyDeleteChristine and Steven, you world travelers, you got it right.
DeleteDear Gina,
ReplyDeleteIf I have seen it I certainly do not remember, but how I am looking forward to your next blog........
Hugs, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, The ghost town of Grafton adds just another interesting dimension to a visit to Zion National Park.
