Dear Gina, is it really that time of year already??? I am still enjoying the fall colors in Texas and the sky has been sunny. I find it hard to get into the mood for decorating and so I hope I have some time left before that glorious day. Warmest greetings, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, I like to begin decorating in small steps. Bring out the candles and a Räuchermänchen or two. I love the smell of that special incense. Add a little Christmas music and I'm transported to the "Old Country". Christmas comes and goes so fast that I like to think of things that make it last longer.
Yes, like you I am starting to bring out my favourite Christmas display pieces, Santa's, Carolers garlands, small trees and wreaths. It's too early for me to decorate the two tall Christmas trees I do like to wait until around the 14th for those. Lovely to see your festive mosaics today, happy MM!
Hello Maggie, I agree, it is fun to bring out favourite Christmas decorations. Each day adding another decoration to the Christmas spirit. I also wait for a little longer to decorate our tree. Right now it's sitting in the pond drawing water so it will still fill the house with that special perfume.
So Beautiful!!! I try, oh how I do try Gina and while mine does look pretty, I always feel like it needs something, and I am not so clever, or creative enough to always make it happen. I did make a new front door wreath which I will share my next post, and I am thinking it is quite nice. Colour sensitive to some hues of colours makes it particularly difficult for me to jump from my comfort zone, but alas, I even did a bit of that this season. Enjoy making the beauty that you share, for I always thoroughly enjoy it~
Dear Mary, I look forward to seeing your Christmas wreath. You are much too sensitive about what you think is creative. Go by your gut feeling. You take such beautiful photograph of your surroundings. And who is a better teacher than Nature?

ReplyDeleteHello Jeanna, Thank you so very much for your visit. Painting clear glass balls with Christmas themes is funand easy.
