A time to celebrate

Celebrate like you never have before.

Leave your worries behind and CELEBRATE.

  1. Beautiful flowers and what a lovely corner to relax and, as you say, leave any worries behind.

We are in Maine today and have just checked into our hotel in Bangor. Pelting with rain, and driving was somewhat hazardous with so much water on the roads. The coolest temps for us in quite some time and that part I like. We dined out under a pergola strung with grape vines (Concord, which are used for jam they said) last night in Manchester, NH just as the cold front arrived, the breeze felt so good, and the food was excellent.

Tomorrow should be dry and warm again and we plan to go to Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island. We've not visited there before. We'll return to Manchester for the 4th.
Warm hugs from us both - Mary

    1. Dear Mary, Wish we had some of the rain that you are encountering. Driving must have been difficult. It's no fun when you're sliding all over the highway.

Our temperatures will be in the eighties today, especially welcome after the days of nineties. Flowers and vegetables are doing well. We now have over sixty young geese on the pond. I can;t wait for them to test their wings and fly away.

  2. Enjoy your celebrations on the 4th July Gina - we shall be celebrating next week too - it is our Wedding Anniversary so we shall be going out for a meal.
It is hot, hot, hot, here, and so much of our garden has dried up and died whilst we have been travelling. Everything looks so lovely colourful around your home and garden.

  3. Dear Rosemary,

Happy Wedding Anniversary. That is the negative part of traveling. Especially in the summer when you need to be home to take care of your garden. But your sensational photos make up for the inconveniences.

  4. I guess even with life's ups and downs I celebrate the best I know how every day. We don't ever do anything special for New Year's Eve, or 4th of July, other than to be thankful for the meaning behind both. Your mosaic of flowers are just exquisite Gina. Enjoy your special week~
