The best of everything today to you too Gina. Hope you have a lovely day and, please know, I'm so thankful for having you and Mr. G as my dear friends. Beautiful photos - aubergines and pears are my favorites! Love, Mary
Dear Mary I hope that you and Mr B have a most special Thanksgiving celebration with your family and friends in Arizona. I was thinking that Arizona is just a hop and a skip to Utah. I think that you would like my gooseberry tartlets, just out of the oven.
Dear Gina, fruits and vegetables are essential for today's celebration and you put them on display so beautifully. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mr. G. Hugs, Sieglinde
Dear Sieglinde, Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our neighbor, whose wife is in the hospital, and his somethingdoodle puppy dog joined us for the festivities. We loved it.
Thanksgiving was quiet and easy for us. A family of two can do it that way. I've had good luck growing eggplant. One year I did miniature ones. Last year it was full size. I grow them in containers and still get more than I can eat. - Margy
Hello Ellen. I'm so pleased that you also like this combination. I always rub my eggplant with a little olive oil to give them extra shine and they last a lot longer.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Gina. Since we celebrated in October, this past Thursday was just a regular day for us north of the border. Your egg plants are so shiny and round - beautiful!
Dear Lorrie, It's the olive oil I rub onto the eggplants that gives them that healthy look. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had an extra special guest, the neighbors' new puppy dog Nicky. He kept us entertained while we were babysitting him.
Happy (belated) Thanksgiving to you - your mosaic is a true sign of the season. Will you be making something with those eggplant and the pears (but maybe not together)? I love eggplant. Thanks for linking up to Mosaic Monday!
Hello Angie, I remember a fabulous eggplant and pigeon dinner overlooking the Nile and watching Feluccas sail by.Wish I had that recipe. However, I might not be looking for pigeons.
The best of everything today to you too Gina.
