Enjoy them dear - you are definitely worth it and your thoughtful friends certainly made the day special for you. Many Happy Returns Gina.
Re: PicMonkey - I have plenty of photos saved already edited - and after changing over to the new version I have managed the editing basics, however I think all the other stuff such as where to get your photos (mine are all over the computer!), how to put them in the HUB, folders etc. is still confusing me. Now I'm printing out the tutorials so I have them next to me, that may help. Later I will enjoy learning the advanced stuff such a collages - that looks more complicated than the older version but much more fun when done.
Are you using the new version only now? Is there a way to switch between the two, at least for a while? Love, Mary
Mary you can switch between the two by clicking onto your name in New Blogger at the top righthand corner next to Learn. It then says Manage my account. Switch to Old PicMonkey. Log out.
Dear Mary, I'm still using the old PicMonkey but am ready to go to the new. Each time I use the new I have to re-teach myself. I just ran through the collage making feature and it is basically the same but different in first setting it up. I don't use Hub. Recently my Computer Guru set up a new computer for me, it is to function as the old as far as picture files are concerned. My photos are organized into Folders. The newest photos are filed by dates and I still have to move them into the appropriate Folders. Most of us, who blog, have thousands of photographs. Sorting them is a major problem unless you have software which will do the work for you. I have installed an old program into my new computer. It is called "Microsoft Picture It Premium 10". I could not do without it because it gives me measurements in inches as well as in pixels. It also has a very effective editing program. The problem is that I could not install this program into my new computer (nor could my Guru). I was ready to also keep my old computer just so I could keep this program. I searched and searched on the Internet and found a very unlikely solution. But Hallelujah it worked. Because I have this program I will not be using HUB. Rosemary has already given you the instruction (see below) on how to switch from old to new and back. Thank You Rosemary. Let's help each other and we can make his new PicMonkey work for us.
I missed wishing you Happy Birthday on Friday. But now, I can: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINA! The flowers are lovely. Did they arrive in that striking blue and white fluted vase? The art style is not ringing a bell for my tired mind. I do love it, though! Hope you had lots of surprises on your birthday weekend!
Thank you Mary, Birthday wishes are always welcome, early or late, no ,matter. The vase is an old one I have had for some time. It's one of my favorites because so many flowers look just right in it.
Dear Gina - a Very Happy Birthday to you dear friend - it is lovely that you were once a Thanksgiving baby.
ReplyDeleteDear Rosemary,
DeleteThere are people who have asked me if my Birthday is always on Thanksgiving. No only when my Birthday is on a Thursday.
Enjoy them dear - you are definitely worth it and your thoughtful friends certainly made the day special for you. Many Happy Returns Gina.
