DeleteCarrot Cake is a favorite. Das Cafe bakes a sensational Carrot Cake. Maybe next year. Something is on it's way to, also snail mail.
So glad you will be with friends and canine companions today. The biscotti and wine sound like a real treat. We will enjoy a dinner of polenta and shrimp, with roasted asparagus, followed by some baking that I did for dessert. A low-key day.

DeleteI have not made Polenta and I love it so. After returning from Italy last time I purchased Polenta flour and there it sits. I love the way you roast your vegetables. No doubt they retain their goodness while roasting instead of boiling.
