Extremes

The front and the back of my house

The moisture is needed in the mountains, but so much snow this late in the season?

Will it ever look like this again? It did last Summer!

  2. Wow, that is a lot of snow! I really feel winter has outstayed her welcome this year and I'm SO ready for her to move South. We don't have any snow but the signs of Spring that are usual by now are nowhere to be seen yet... oh well, in her own time I guess? Hope you're keeping toasty and warm :)

  3. Oh, my, Gina, these are two amazing images – both gorgeous in their own way. I knew your house was a dream but had no idea you were on a lake! How fabulous! I hope you have signs of spring soon! – g

  4. Hi Georgianna and Kendalee, It started out with a saddle being made for me. Then we needed a few acres for a horse or two. So we found this property and it had a hidden pond/almost lake. It flows 39 gallons a minute. So, then we built a house by the pond (not part of the original plan because we were still living in the city during the week). ) Now I have a new house, a pond, a saddle, but no horse and no prospect of getting one.

  6. Our snow has finally all melted away, but the weather is still cool and gray. It's been a long and cold winter, I can't wait for it to leave!

  7. Hi Francesca, Our temperature today is the same as it was November 7th. We have had snow since October. Everyone is complaining about the long winter. Wishing you sunshine and warm days.
